Your app should auto-switch to navigation upon acceptance, but in case it doesn't and you need it, you can tap the "location" button with the up-pointing arrow to the right of the pickup address on the map screen containing the request's overall route. The maps are geared so you can see both yourself and your rider's current locations on the screen with the request.Although most requests will be near your current location, Lyft may match you with requests up to thirty-one minutes away.If you don't see potential riders around your immediate area, try driving to one of these hubs. You can commonly find riders waiting for Lyft at transportation hubs like train stations, bus stations, and airports.Don't delay, as you'll only have fifteen seconds to accept the request.The line that's there denotes the approximate line of transport to get to this pickup location, along with a circled area of either the address or location's name. Before you accept the trip, you can see the passenger's name and rating, along with their avatar and a map of the passenger's pickup location. You can tap anywhere in the white trip request dialog box to accept the trip, however, there is a pink-and-white Accept button to accept it using a button format. Tap the circle with the passenger's avatar on the notification at the bottom of the Lyft Driver screen. As the requests come in, accept one if you'd like to.
